A Walk In The Park

Until you’ve walked along the Upper West Side’s Riverside Park, you haven’t seen real, antiquated beauty. Nestled among blooming cherry blossoms and fields of weathered stone, Riverside Park created the perfect backdrop for my second styling opportunity with Caravelle New York.

With two new and exciting watches to showcase, I couldn’t wait to get creative pairing both watches with a look that spoke to the inspiration and style behind each. We began with the Caravelle New York Automatic Watch – futuristic with its transparent casing and stunning with an all-black exterior – on our model, Johan. Because the timepieces from Caravelle New York are inspired by the urban sensibility of New York City, I decided to dress Johan in black from head-to-toe. I thought it would show off the watch perfectly and provide a cheeky punch to the stereotype that New Yorkers only wear black! (It’s kind of true…)

We also shot the Caravelle New York Automatic Watch on our second model, Shannon. This time we took a contrast turn towards an all-white outfit. The sheer shirt and dressier trousers not only provided a blank canvas for the handsome watch but also showed off the watch’s ability to upgrade the ‘wow factor’ of any look.

For our final look, we wanted to highlight the unbelievably cool Caravelle New York Shades of Grey watch. With its gold bezel and charcoal body, it offers unrivaled versatility for both casual and dressier outfits. To accentuate the stylish watch, I put Shannon in a navy blazer, striped tee and white chinos. The outfit helped the watch take center stage by providing a balancing neutral backdrop.
