Good Tuesday morning. The Belleek Inspired technique is one of my favorites and I especially like pairing it with Color Washed flowers. My project today was made using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Bunch of Flowers 2, Curvy Leaves, Sizzix Starry Night embossing folder and Spellbinders Classic Ovals.
I applied spun sugar distress ink on the inside of the embossing folder with my brayer, placed the cardstock in the folder and ran through the Big Shot. I painted the flowers sections, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and assembled them with glossy accents. I scored the leaves using my leaf tool and leaf pad. and lightly bent them in with my fingers.
I attached the double matted frame to the card bas with mounting tape. I arranged the larger pieces of foliage on the card base and attached with glossy accents. I attached the flowers to the foliage with small pieces of mounting tape and a little additional glossy accents. I added a few small pieces of foliage to the arrangement to fill in. I added champagne pearls to the flower centers for the finishing touch.
Check out my Belleek Inspired and Color Wash tutorials if you would like to see step by step photos of these techniques.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.
