WOAH, I am so excited to share these photos with you! Earlier this week I met up with Lisa for coffee library work and in between we took a moment to shoot my look of the day. The winter-ish light was pretty glorious and my outfit was an absolute favourite of the week. This means that I wore this exact outfit for three days straight! Only last week I was telling you about my quest for a decent pair of leather leggings, and now I have suddenly found the perfect pair. They're by Baukjen, a casual UK brand with high quality must-haves, including real leather leggings that will last me for years. Moving on to the oversized mohair-blend knit of my dreams then! Probably my best purchase of the season. The dark grey goes ridiculously well with camel and about every other colour in my closet, so I'm sure I will wear it to pieces.
It sounds really shallow to constantly talk about clothes as if they're life-changing, but the truth is that lately I have been shopping way less but seem to get way happier from a single purchase that really fits my style and that I will wear for more than two seasons. And since I like to share everything that makes me happy here on Polienne, my new clothes obviously belong here too! I also want to point out that when I add c/o to the clothing credits this means that the product is a gift or part of a collaboration. It's important to me to be completely honest about this. The brands that I'm lucky to work with are all carefully chosen so that they suit both my style and your interest, and I hope that you notice this too! Please immediately shut off my internet whenever I abandon this rule to blog by.
Again, WOAH, this post turned out way different than I expected: from some lovely winter light to collaboration ethics on the blog. Sometimes it's nice to get caught in the moment and go with the flow, right? Alright, gotta go with some more flow now: I'm currently enjoying a lovely weekend at the seaside with my family-in-law, and I hope you're doing something equally fun! See you soon!
