I’ve been looking for a nice serving tray, so I decided to dedicate my weekend to a little project. Summer is almost here and I absolutely love the beach. That’s where my color inspiration for this project came from. This DIY Serving Tray With Glidden® paint would look perfect in a beach house!

I like projects like this because I can make it exactly the way I want! This DIY was super easy, affordable and quick! The serving tray was plain wood, so I decided it would be a lot easier to use Glidden paint because they have their DUO Paint Primer collection.

To do this project you’ll need:

First, you will put a coat of paint on the wood serving tray. Since you are using DUO paint primer, you will only need 1-2 coats of paint. I used 2 coats.

Here is the tray dry with 2 coats of paint. I just love this color!

I then painted my wood accessories with 2 coats of paint each and let dry overnight.

After is everything is dry, you use your glue gun and attach your wood letter to your design.

Then you take your glue gun and attach your wood design to your serving tray.

Now, you have a gorgeous personalized serving tray for your home or any occasion! Personally, I think this is the perfect decor for an ottoman in the living room!

What do you think? Is this something you want to try? Let us know in the comments below.
