Simply Wicked Dinner Party

“Going so soon? I wouldn’t hear of it. Why my little party’s just beginning.” This Simply Wicked Dinner Party is full of classic Oz imagery and colors that represent one of the most iconic storybook and cinematic villains of all time. But of course our friends at Sweetly Chic Events & Design added their own special twist to give this party just a bit of sparkle and glam!

A small entrance table served as the perfect setting for the Wicked Witch and broom inspired candybobs and welcome sign.

This gorgeous sweets table was adorned with gorgeous, glistening emerald green sequined linen and was filled with decadent desserts including glamorous Wicked Witch silhouette and monogram cookies, black candied apples with emerald green shimmer sticks, black sugar-coated miniature donuts and black and white fondant topped cupcakes. Yum!

The focal point of the table was a stunning 3-tiered black and white striped cake finished with a white, gold and emerald floral and ribbon detailing. Gorgeous!

A glittering gem topped emerald Oreo was placed on miniature cupcake stands and served as a sweet treat for each attendee.

The bar area with an emerald topped vintage decanter, various vintage bottles and pedestals added a touch of sparkle with some color coordinating flatware and a glitter mason jar complete with a small floral arrangement.

The bar was adorned with an emerald and black tassel garland and accented with touches of gold. And what would a bar be without champagne? This chocolate champagne bottle was the perfect touch!

A striking black and white striped satin linen served as the perfect base for the dining tablescape. A crystal ball centerpiece sat upon a floral and feather clad wreath atop a golden pedestal.

The dinner party place settings included black dinner plates set on emerald green chargers, vintage emerald goblets, and watercolor inspired linen napkins adorned with floral and feather napkin rings.

The dinner party menus were laid upon each place setting, highlighting the evening’s dining selections. In lieu of a standard name place card, they chose to highlight a notable characteristic describing the Wicked Witch of the West.

Each gold Chiavari chair was accented with a garland made of green, black and gold flowers with touches of iridescent black feathers.

And of course, what would the Wicked Witch of the West be without her bicycle and broom? They chose to embellish the bicycle and vintage bicycle basket with an abundance of blooms, greenery, feathers and chocolate champagne. The iconic witch’s broom was topped with emerald sequins and finished with a touch of black and gold. This just goes to show, adding just a bit of glitz and glam can take any event from simply wicked to wicked and fabulous!!!
