I’ve always loved the sultry look of a cat-eye, but I rarely have the time to do it. It can be difficult to get the liner to look right, so I was excited to try Benefit's new They’re Real Push Up Liner. I wanted to see how it worked for someone as impatient as I am.

I was very pleasantly surprised that I got it to look perfect on my first try and every other time thereafter. I was skeptical about the gel-liner in a pen at first, but was quickly proven wrong. The angled pen tip is genius, making drawing in the winged cat-eye tips a breeze. I use the remover for quick fixes and smudges, while the mascara is a lovely final touch to round out the collection. Everything in the line is waterproof and stays on all day. In the end the liner cuts down on my makeup routine and gives me no excuse not do it more often. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
