Debenhams Christmas Party Look Details

 Debenhams are running another blogger competition, this time it is for a christmas party look. I love a dress and a good pair of heels so jumped straight in at trying to create a glam but unique look. The worst thing to happen at a party is to turn up and someone else is wearing your dress, so I've tried to create a look that will not match up to anyone elses. The red dress is beautiful and in a great festive colour, but it is rather revealing and has a bit of a nightdress style to it that I would feel to bare in. I would add the patterned Miss Selfridge crop top to clash with the texture from lace at the bottom of the dress. This would also make me feel more comfortable, as well as create that unique look that if someone else wears this dress wouldn't have. The accessories were chosen to compliment the slight pleather look on the crop top, and add a little glitz to the outfit from the sparkles on the shoes and the bracelet. As there is quite a lot going on in this look I didn't want to over accessories so wanted to keep them simple. To top the look off I would add a bright red lippy, cat eye flick eyes and straight blunt hair. As my current hair colour compliments the look I would want it all on show.
