New York Fashion Week – techSTYLE Lounge
You start to speak my language when you combine fashion and technology. The techSTYLE Lounge did just that by bringing some of the best up and coming vendors to a beautiful loft in lower Manhattan during Fashion Week!
Jala Bars
The first place I stopped was at a vendor called Jala Bars. These are Greek yogurt frozen treats that are made with 100% skim milk. The owner was a complete sweetheart, he managed to convince me to taste the bar and it was delicious! I had the strawberry flavor and it was light in texture, lightly sweetened and made with real strawberries. They are low calorie, have no fat and their philosophy is “Eat Healthy, Be Active”. I have tried lots of froyo type of treats but this one definitely is the best of them all. Jala Bars will soon be available in multiple supermarkets so be sure to look for them!

When I approached this display, I thought, oh boy not another subscription service! Except this one was different. This company send full sized samples for free! All they ask in return is that you fill out a survey (about 4-7 questions) letting them know how you like the products. How do they do it?! I don’t know but I signed up right there on the spot! I mean, look at all the great stuff!
They started in Australia and are close to having almost a million subbies in the US! Sign me up!

I was just so enamored with this display. Could you tell what it was? It was the cutest container of lip gloss I have ever seen in my life! The owners are a fun and super sweet husband and wife team. The line has so many cute flavors like Do Ya Pink I’m Sexy and Citrus How We Do It. They all smell divine too! You can get these on their website!
There were some more great brands in the room including SnowMan – a clothing line that sells premium down coats and outerwear:
