Build a bear hits times Square!

Oh but just when you thought all the crazy Frozen hype was done, it’s not over yet folks! It almost seems as if the movie has been out for about 10 years now. I almost know the movie word for word and if I hear Let It Go again I might weep uncontrollably.

Something about that movie has a visible hold on these kids that make them happy–and who are we to deny happiness? I’m pretty sure my mom was sick of my pound puppies when I was growing up!

Build A Bear Workshop Pop Up Shop in Times Square

A few weeks ago the Build A Bear Store opened up a beautifully spacious store on the upper end of Times Square. The store is just like a traditional Build A Bear store, you can create a stuffed animal of your choosing and accessorize it with all kinds of fun clothing and accents.

What makes this store unique is that you can get “ElsaBear”, “AnnaBear” and Olaf (playing himself :)). The adorable part is that you can dress up the Bears in the princesses attire and add anything else your heart desires. What I love about these gifts is that they are so unique – - it combines the cuddly of a stuffed high quality bear with their favorite characters of Frozen.

Build A Bear was nice enough to provide me with an Olaf to take home and because I have two children that love each other but fight over one item I made sure to get a second one. It was a total hit!

There are plenty of other options of stuffed animals from the traditional bears to the fun licensed characters like Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles. There were so many characters from so many popular movies and TV shows.

I was on hand for the ribbon company which featured the CEO of Build A Bear and of course the mascot Bearamy. I like bear hugs. A lot.
