i've fallen in love with a city

And I think it loves me back.
To kick off my final recap of HK activites...I WENT TO DISNEYLAND HONG KONG, GUYS.

I was having too much fun to take more photos. If you guys follow my socials, you probably know how obsessed with Disneyland California I am (premium pass holder, holla). This is the third country I've gone to Disneyland in. My goal is to hit them all by 2015's end.
I also shot with the fabulous team behind Backroom. You probably remember a blog collab with them a couple months ago. It was really awesome meeting everyone in person and getting to model for them. Below are a couple shots from the shoot; head over to their site to peep the rest and shop the looks!
Marcelo Buron crewneck sweater. Marcelo Buron basketball. BKRM shorts.
Motel dress.
Maurie & Eve dress.
All this zipping around HK was facilitated by W Hong Kong's Handy phones. They're provided for hotel guests and are crazy convenient when you don't have an international cell phone plan. They come with unlimited international calls and 3G data!

An even more helpful factor of my trip was...Uber! I take Uber in LA frequently, and in NY all the time, so when I found out that Uber had launched a month prior to my arrival in HK, I was beside myself with happiness. It saved my butt getting from place to place and I never had a communication issue with the drivers, even if they barely spoke English.

The next day, we took a ferry to Cheung Chau Island. This is my favorite part of the trip and also one of my best days of my life.

Nobody drives cars or even motorcycles there; the fastest thing is, as best as I can describe it, like a little toy wagon with a gas motor. Almost everyone rides bikes on this island, and you can rent your own for the day for the small price of $20 HKD or $30 HKD if you want a basket ($2.67 USD and $4 USD, respectively).
I biked in a dress because I'm super ladylike (I had shorts underneath)
Our friends' tradition whenever visiting this island is to work themselves into a sweat biking all around the hills and then stop for a rewarding frozen pineapple treat

Biking through a sleepy fishing town with friends and sightseeing was the most relaxing thing I have done in a long time. Sometimes it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
