my latest favorite pair of jeans

For many of us, denim is a large part of our daily wardrobe. I have intentions of wearing other kinds of bottoms, and I have plenty to choose from, but at the end of the day, I prefer jeans! I know it is easier and perhaps even a boring choice, but jeans really fit my lifestyle. I have branched out a bit lately and have a few coated pair – one by Habitual in a great oxblood color.

My latest favorite pair is new, purchased with gift cards I received for my birthday: the Rag & Bone/JEAN skinny in Harrow wash. Love! They are such a great fit – exactly the right length for me (a rare find), hit at a good spot at the hips, have the right amount of stretch and are tight enough in the legs but still comfortable. My main complaint about most skinny jeans is that the fit is almost always off somewhere. These are perfection. And the wash is very different from most of what I own, which is good. I foresee wearing these on a very regular basis!

Here I am in them today, super casual, running errands and helping my daughter pack for her return to college for spring semester (boo!). (I can’t remember who made my bracelet but I got it about 5 years ago at Intermix in NYC and I love it):
