Last month’s, the last month.
Here are some photos from the past several weeks. Instagram is such a convenience. I barely use my camera these days. :( Follow me on instagram.
1) Some warm-up watercolor works. I took a total of probably 6 hours to do these. It’s a pretty long warm-up but I haven’t painted since December and I felt the need to do these before jumping to a bigger sheet. Watercolor isn’t exactly as relaxing as acrylic or oil. The level of alertness needed is double so warm-ups make me feel a little more comfortable.

3) Food and more food! Some of these are from our trip to Baguio. The cheesecake setup is from the Magnum event. So beautiful!
4) A couple of things I want: more plants, Harry Potter merchandise, a rabbit vase and this bird paper weight.
5) And here’s the most important part of this entry:
This is the last entry here on Quiet Girl! I was a little reluctant to close it because of the previous layout. It took such a long time to customize so I thought that hey maybe I should keep it, it’s such a waste. And on March 7 (the day I’m writing this), the header code mysteriously malfunctioned and I told myself: it’s a sign from the digital gods, this needs to be thrown away, so I am doing it now.
Why am I closing QG? I got tired of it. And that’s really it. I’ve been reading my 2010 entries and they’re so different from 2011 and that from 2012. They became less and less me and intimate and more and more news. Then all of a sudden, there’s nothing to write about anymore. (Or rather I’m not comfortable to write about anything anymore. This place freaks me out!)
I’m still blogging though! I’ve been running another blog since February but I’m doing it privately this time.
I’d like to thank everyone who has been reading Quiet Girl and for the unyielding support, all my previous sponsors and amazing brands who took me in as part of a campaign or an event as an art/style blogger. Also friends who helped out with my exposure like each and everyone of the now-defunct Gondo Girls, folks at magazines, and so many people!
