I really was surprised by this story. The main guy is deaf which is something I did not expect. None the less he was super hot.

Logan is a tattoo artist as is his 2 older brothers. They own a tattoo shop. Kit goes in to the shop get a tattoo and Logan disrespects her and she punches him in the nose and leaves without the tattoo. But Kit drops her tattoo design before she runs out of the parlor. Logan sees the design and immediately feels bad for disrespecting Kit. Logan can see the tattoo she wanted is like her own prison within herself with no escape. So Logan changes the design up a bit giving it an escape and he gets it tattooed on himself. Logan is not sure why he needs to have this tattoo but he just knows he needs to.

Logan runs into Kit playing her guitar in the subway tunnel for money. He does his best to get her to speak with him. Finally she agrees to go to dinner with him since she is starving and Logan has stolen her bag and will not return it. After dinner she thanks him for paying and she leaves to go to the homeless shelter for the night. Logan follows her and when he sees she is tired and unable to get a bed in the shelter for the night he insists on her staying with him. At least for the night.

She agrees and as they enter his apartment she is introduced to his 4 brothers. Matt (tattoo artist & cancer patient), Paul (tattoo artist), Sam & Pete (twins in their senior year of high school). Kit is a little nervous, there is a lot of men in this apartment. She is a little unsure if she can trust all these guys. She does her best and takes Logan's bed for the night. Logan sleeps on the couch, such a gentleman.

Logan and Kit get closer and Kit comes to rely on him more as does the brothers rely on her. She tried to leave but they just would not let her. Kit really wants Logan to make love to her but Logan refuses until she tells him her name. Kit is still not able to trust him. There are people looking for her and she can not take the chance. If her father finds her she will be forced into a life she does not want and married to a man she does not love.

Matt gets more sick and the chemo is not working. Kit must do something drastic to get Matt help. Matt's new treatment may save his life, it is the only option but it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. They do not have the money. But Kit does because she is a VIP and her family is loaded. Now Kit must decide if she can give up the man she loves and the family she has grown to love to save Matt's life. If she calls her father it is over she will go back home and never see Logan again but Matt will most likely live.

Kit's choice is obvious. Or is it.
