The Promise of Amazing – Cover Fashion Inspiration! by Robin Constantine

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of Novel Fashion Week 2014! I had such a great time finding looks to match my cover for The Promise of Amazing. One of the things I love about this cover is the autumn colors. At first I was only going to put together a daytime look, but then I thought it would be fun to do something a bit unexpected. Both looks reflect the greens, golds, navy and pop of red from the cover. These are looks my main character Wren Caswell would be comfortable wearing. She's a bit on the conservative side, but likes to glam it up now and again.

Wren is definitely a jeans and cozy sweater kind of a girl. My favorite part of this set is the Eat, Love, Be Fab NYX eyeshadow pallet. I think it would look fab on any skin tone - the shimmery and matte combo of peach, browns and greens could be used so many ways. And I love the navy polish and ankle booties that pull the look together. The final touch is an Alex and Ani Vintage 66 Love bangle - the perfect accessory for Wren to express how she feels about Grayson!

Red isn't Wren's go-to color, but as I said - she can glam it up when she wants. I think this fun and fresh red dress from Forever New is perfect for her to show up her flirty side. Combined with metallic peep-toe pumps and this cute Betsy Johnson clutch with the kiss embellishment, this is an amazing evening look! Hope you enjoyed my interpretation.
