At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

Have you ever had a book that you want to talk about, but you just can't seem to find the right words or form sentences that come close to your emotions or what the book made you feel? EVERY single Colleen Hoover book does that for me, but I think Maybe Someday is the first book that has honestly just left me speechless.
Sydney is 22 years old, her life is great. She is a college student (happily studying music), she lives with her best friend Tori, and she has a great boyfriend (Hunter) who she has been with for 2 years. BUT, on her 22nd birthday Sydney's life kinda spirals out of control when she discovers Hunter is cheating on her with..... Her Best Friend Tori.
Every night at the same time Sydney is out on her balcony so she can hear her neighbor Ridge play the guitar. Ridge has definitely taken notice and in desperation to end his writers block he communicates with Sydney. when she is able to help him out he is convinced he has found his muse.
Maybe Someday really surprised me. I knew since this was by Colleen Hoover it was going to be great, but it definitely exceeded any expectations I had. This book was so painful yet so beautiful it left me in shambles, but made me happy at the same time. If you are looking for a book that leaves you with all the feels I definitely recommend picking Maybe Someday up. **Disclaimer** Have tissues!
