I grab her exploring finger just as it reaches my happy trail—a trail that if I let her wander down further will lead us to do things we can’t take back. Things like three-word phrases being confessed that would end me if I was rejected. Things like selfishly wanting to own her body and doing things to her that would make my fantasies blush. And things like making her promises too soon that won’t do either of us any good. She makes me want a future that’s not possible, and one I don’t deserve.
Listening to my ego got me into this situation. Will listening to my heart get me out?

Good Vibrations is probably one of my favorite, no, I'm pretty sure it is my favorite self published book. I love indie books and authors, but a lot of times you kind of have to weed through the good and the bad. Good Vibrations is definitely on the good scale. This book was a total random buy at my local bookstore and I REALLY need to get my hands on the rest of the series before I go insane. Luckily I did buy a few of her other books before they all sold out.

Mallory goes to school in Boulder, Co, but has decided to spend her summer in Hawaii with her BFF Sunny (Who I absolutely Adore!) Mallory has gone through a stressful semester as well as a terrible breakup, so some fun in the sun is definitely in order.

Evan catches sight of Mallory while in an intense lip lock with last weeks fling (who is about to be heading back home from Hawaii). Evan does not do relationships, flings are his thing, and he makes that very clear, but what happens when you meet a girl who you want to throw your own rules away for?
This book is such a fun read that left me feeling so good inside! This is a new adult so of course it has some steamy scenes, but I'm sure your can tell that by the synopsis ;)
I absolutely LOVE Scott's writing style everything just flows so well and she's able to paint this perfect picture for you. At times I really felt like I was in Hawaii observing Mallory and Evans relationship. I love an author who can transfer you to their fictional world.
The characters are all very likable and I was really able to relate with some of these characters and that's always a plus in my book. I instantly loved Sunny and I know everyone else will too! By the time I closed this book, I felt like I was leaving my friends back in Hawaii to return to reality and I cannot wait to get the next book and return.
I have recommended this book to everyone I know. If you enjoy romance with two characters who have the right amount of sarcasm then this book is definitely for you!
