5 creative blogs you need to know

1. Jasmine by Jasmine Dowling
S
o this girl is pretty stylish, but what I’m interested in even more are her handwritten quotes. You’ve probably come across them on Instagram or Pinterest and maybe you didn’t know who made them. Well, now you know. If you see a curly, black and white quote it’s probably made by Jasmine. And if having one of her works as your phone or laptop wallpaper isn’t enough, you can have a look in her webshop, where she sells them all.

2. Sam Is Home
Sam is Home is Sam’s personal diary, where she shows her love for food and fashion. Her food styling is impeccable and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it.
I
usually visit food blogs only when I’m looking for the answer to that everlasting question: ‘what are we going to eat today?’, but to be calling this a food blog would be cutting it short. Sam’s shoots are more like editorials.

3. A Beautiful Mess
A
pretty damn successful blog by two sisters. If you’re looking for fun DIY projects, this is the place to go to. They come in just about any category you can imagine: hair, interior design, toys, wedding decorations, etc, etc. They also give great advice on photography and design. There’s just so much inspiring reads to find on A Beautiful Mess. Plus, they have an awesome iPhone app for editing pictures.

4. Love Aesthetics
L
ike a lot of blogs that have been out there for a while Ivania started out wearing Levi’s shorts and American Apparel. Thankfully this didn’t last and she’s developed a completely different style, main characteristics being see-through plastics, metallics and no colour. Despite the fact that this almost the complete opposite of my personal style, I absolutely love what she does. Her DIY’s are so original and she makes them all seem so easy.

5. Tokyo Banhbao
Just like me this girl has a knack for anything cute. I’m not only talking about her style, she also makes the cutest illustrations ever and manages to capture every adorable views, gadgets and dishes on her travels. I kind of envy her, as she has two comic books published and even her doodles look perfect. She definitely inspires me to challenge myself as an illustrator!

Did you know these bloggers already? Which one is your favourite? Would love to know if you can come up with other creative bloggers to add to the list!
