NEW JOB
Today I’m going to let you in on a little secret. This blog is just a display of my love for fashion, style & design, nothing more, nothing less. It’s never been my idea to make a living this way, so of course I’m super happy that I now partially do. But there’s loads of other things I love doing besides blogging. So I started searching for something that would help me develop my professional skillset. And guess what, I found something awesome! In other words, a new job! Yup, that’s the reason I’ve been so incredibly busy, too busy to blog every single day.
About a month ago I started my job as online marketeer/graphic designer at Kitsch Kitchen. If you don’t know the brand yet, you should definitely check it out. We sell cheerful, functional products. Some are made in-house, others imported from exotic countries like Mexico. There’s a Kitsch Kitchen shop in the centre of Amsterdam and this is also where our office is. Besides this shop we sell our products to resellers.
It probably doesn’t surprise you that I’ll be in charge of all Kitsch Kitchen social media. So be sure to give us a follow on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter if you love seeing a little bit of colour in your feed.
The fun thing about my job is that I do so many different things. One of them being….. styling a tv studio! Yup, just a few weeks into my new job and I made it onto tv. Dutch music station Xite to be precise. Maybe you’ve seen it already, but in case you haven’t, here’s the video. You’ll find me at about 25 minutes and again at about 55.
So that was my big news for the day! I always feel a little excited to share personal things with you guys, but I couldn’t keep such fun news from you!
