This Week’s Most Loved… #93.

It’s that time again! I finally sorted out my dressing table yesterday so it was much easier to find the products I’ve been using lately as I piled them in to my MUJI tower – pictures here. I got rid of an unbelievable amount of makeup though (mostly limited edition products that I was collecting rather than, er, actually using) which makes me think… why didn’t I do that before I moved?! Nevermind eh.

The first pick this week is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (£22) which I’ve been using everyday since I got it – I wasn’t sure if this was going to be good for using all over the face as it’s designed to be used only under the eyes, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very creamy, but it pretty much melts in to the skin so the area of concern in concealed, but not caked in makeup. I have the shade Custard which seems to be just right for me, and I apply it underneath my foundation usually. Lovely stuff!

I’ve also been using the Illamasqua Sculpting Powder Duo (£26) a whole lot lately; I’ve only recently got in to contouring and this little kit has been a saviour as a beginner. There’s a light matte shade for sculpting and a gorgeous shimmery champagne highlighter for a lovely radiant glow. In fact, some days I just sweep on the highlighter as it’s so subtle and just beautiful! I really recommend picking this up if you haven’t tried it before, it’s the easiest product to use.

My next product is something I’ve recently rediscovered; I finished my much-loved Brow Wiz pencil up for the second time recently and I haven’t had the chance to replace it, so I rummaged through my stash and found the By Terry Eyebrow Mascara (£26), now I have to admit that I don’t really get along with brow gels but there’s something about this offering that I just love! It’s the perfect shade for me – I have Medium Ash – and it actually really plumps and defines the brows, coating every hair with the formula so the end result is natural but bold brows. It’s definitely worth a try if you need a little help in the brow department.

Finally, a new addition to my skincare routine is the AESOP Control Blemish Gel (£15) which is just a spot treatment. You can apply this under or over makeup and it gets to work on reducing and calming the spot (or spots, in my case). I haven’t been using it long but so far, it seems to be doing its job. More on that later!

Have you tried any of these? Any recommendations for me this week?
