NARS Lip Pencils.

Despite not being a lipstick kinda girl (I know, gh0stparties uncovered) I have quite the lipstick collection. That’s mainly because when I find something I love, I build a collection of shades – and this is certainly true of the NARS lip pencils.

Seen here is two different formulations of the pencils; there’s the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils (£18) – these are the ones with the plain bold colour on the end, I have the shades ‘Bolero’ which is that beautiful bright peach second from the top, and ‘Roman Holiday’, the softer slightly shimmery cool pink second from the bottom. Both are just perfect, and although I’m not usually a matte kinda gal, I find both to be very creamy and non-drying.
I would love a few more shades, especially with autumn fast approaching – the berry tones of Toundra look amazing! I also like the look of Bettina, a more natural nude.

I also have a few of the Satin Lip Pencils (£18), the ones with the ring and block of colour at the ends. This creamy, slightly glossy formula is more what I’m used to, and they’re super nourishing on the lips which makes them wear well. Seen here is Lodhi at the top, a really vibrant coral that looks incredible on all skin tops. Biscayne Park, the soft nude/pink shade in the middle – probably my most worn lip product as it’s flawless. I’m wearing it here.
I also have Het Loo, which I got in a gift bag if I remember correctly. This is more of a dark brown and I don’t think I’ve ever used it – maybe I’ll get it out and see… although I’m really not sure it’s my kinda colour!

I guess it’s pretty obvious that I’m a big fan of these creamy pencils, I love everything about the formula and the easy to use crayon is great for people who (like me) find it hard to stay in the lines when colouring in. Dreamy!

Have you tried any of these pencils?
