Home Wishing: Living Room Edition.

I don’t think I’ll ever not have a ready-made home wishlist to hand, there’s just so much I want to do to this flat! I’m kind of focusing on the living room now, because at the moment we only really use it to eat breakfast in…

The room itself is huge, with white walls, wooden floors and wooden details (around the bay window etc.) but it does need some attention. As you know we have ordered the below sofa which comes at the start of October I think. It’s only a love seat kinda one so we have room for another one, and I think we’ll get this Couch number – it’s a lovely dark grey with dark casters and it’s in my budget as it’s only £695 – obviously still loads but most sofas are double that.

I think I might also buy a couple of armchairs for the window, we have a small little old dark (wow so many adjectives) table that we use for a breakfast table because it always gets the sun in the mornings. At the moment we just have dining chairs to sit on but I really want some small tub chairs, like this teal one from Made.com. I love the style and they’re only £169 each (we’d need two though) but I’m not sold on the colour! I like it next to the grey sofa but I think it might be too much mint next to the love seat. I always struggle with Made as I love the styles they have but I can never choose a colour from their selection!
I’m hunting down similar versions but I don’t want to spend more than £169 – what do we think you guys?!
I also need this little white retro chair (£158) – how cute?! I would probably steal it for an office chair though.

In keeping with my mint theme, I’ve been eyeing up this little painted side table (£140) – although perhaps I could just make one myself. I’m also going for a copper theme because I just love this mix of greys, coppers and mints – unusual but also quite old fashioned with a modern twist (lol).
I have found this copper table lamp (£65) to go on the side table next to the sofa, I think this will be my next purchase as it’s just so perfect. I also like this H&M candlestick holder (£6.99), which is going to look divine next to my next pineapple purchase (£9.99). I’ll never get bored of pineapples, just so you know.

Also for decoration, I need some art prints – I quite like this simple Bonjour print so maybe that in a plain black frame would fit in nicely. I would probably lean it on the mantlepiece for a little added detail. I also still want the IKEA Songe Mirror (£115) – it’s absolutely huge and I need it. I was going to have it in the bedroom but I think it would work in the lounge too.
Finally, I’m lusting over this MADE Mogul Rug (£189), it’s a little something different and not too badly priced for a rug either. I would probably place it under the sofa and have a glass of bourbon on the coffee table while my slippers warm by the fire. Or something.

What do you think of my wishlist? Aren’t I a dreamer? Sigh.
