Hunting For Hand Cream.

I’ve mentioned in the past that I am a hand cream fiend; soap really dries out my poor paws so I feel like I’m forever slathering on the hand cream in an attempt to quench my thirsty hands!

I like to have a good few tubes around the house for regular applications, and one in my handbag – yep I am that bad – so it’s a constantly struggle trying to find the perfect product. My favourite is the Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm (£19) – but it’s a pricey buy for how much I slather it on! I reckon I could easily get through this huge tube in a week as I’m pretty heavy handed with applications. Pah, a pun. This is such a rich, intensely nourishing cream so it’s perfect for how parched my hands feel. It sinks in in seconds and really feels like it’s actually quenching that awful uncomfortable dry feeling. It’s such a gorgeous formula, and it smells divine too.
I keep it on my bedside table for nightly applications, which is ideal as it means my nails never ever flake anymore – something I used to have serious issues with – so it’s a bit of a God-send. Now I’m writing this I just want to stockpile tubes of it, as it’s just so dreamy.

While I do adore the above, I would another for my desk, handbag etc. – I’ve tried the L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (£8), which is just lovely so perhaps I’ll repurchase that. Hopefully I’ve given you guys enough to work with now – and I guess you know what’s coming…

So… with the above in mind, does anyone have any recommendations for a good hand cream? I like them rich but not sticky, nicely scented and with natural ingredients if possible! That’s really a lot to ask, isn’t it?

If you could leave a recommendation or two in the comments, you would be saving my little parched paws!
