Recent Skincare Favourites.

As I continue my search for the perfect skincare routine, three new products have caught my eye and quickly become essentials for me. My skin has been slightly problematic in recent months, so I’ve been on a one man mission to find some winning products…

The first of my favourites is the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial (£32); this is an entirely new skincare concept for me, it’s a miracle-working exfoliator that you massage in to dry skin (it feels like a primer, so smooth!) before adding water to activate the vitamin C. I just sort of wet my hands and then massage it in, leaving it on for a minute. The treatment helps to exfoliate and brighten the skin, ridding the face of that dull, slightly grey look that usually appears at this time of the year for me.
I see a difference almost instantly, my complexion is super supple, a whole lot more radiant, and the tone seems to look more even with every use. It’s well worth a purchase if you ask me.

Another must try exfoliator I’ve become rather attached to is this Omorovicza Refining Facial Polisher (£65) a seriously pricey little number from one of my favourite skincare brands. I’ve come to realise that my skin has quite expensive taste.
This uses tiny exfoliating particles in a light micro-algae infused mud so you get the benefits of three or four products in just one use. The idea is to massage it in as an exfoliator, and then leave on for a minute to allow the mud to do it’s job. It’s seriously amazing stuff, and my complexion just glows after use.

Finally, a new release from Origins; the Dr Weil Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Face Cream (£50) – my skin seems to be getting more sensitive as I age so anything that helps to soothe and calm irritations is good for me. This is a lovely rich cream that I tend to use as my night cream, it massages in well (although it’s quite a thick formula) and really nourishes my dehydrated complexion, while taking down angry blemishes. I’ve not been using this for long but it’s already doing good, so I will be keeping up with applications!

Have you tried anything new recently?
