An Accessorize Haul.

I have to admit that I’ve never really been much of a jewellery person, often I just forget to put them on – or I find they get a bit bulky and annoying during the day. However, in recent weeks I’ve been trying to make more of an effort with my accessories, so I’ve been stockpiling on pretty jewellery picks in an attempt to look like I’ve made an effort…

One of my favourite stores for jewels is of course, Accessorize. There’s always so much on offer, and they usually have quite a few deals on too. I said recently that I’ve also started wearing earrings once again – I’ve got three holes in each lobe and I’ve taken to wearing tiny, tiny studs in each. At the moment I have a pair of simple hoops in the first, and then a small turquoise stone stud and a little leaf (this set if you’re wondering). Yesterday I spotted these tiny Simple Rose Gold Studs (£8) so I expect I’ll be popping those in to switch it up a little.

I’ve also suddenly found myself wearing bracelets – quite a big deal for me, I have to say! I have this beautiful Plaited Bracelet (£6) which I wear daily, and a few other dainty friendship bracelets. The jewellery is on 3 for 2 at the moment, so I’ve pretty much been buying these in bulk. I seem to have a slight fascination with stones at the moment, I like the amethyst and opal-style bracelets, rings and pendants! They look so pretty and are a nice change from my usual simple picks.

I also picked up a cute black sparkly bobble necklace, I think this is quite 80s and I know my mum has an almost identical one that she’s had for years. It’s quite different from what I would usually wear, but I think it’d going to be a timeless piece – I can imagine it would look lovely with an LBD or over a turtleneck jumper.
