If you are anything like me (and the rest of the nation), you are currently gripped by the BBC One Series, The Great British Bake Off. Whether we’re looking for tips to make the perfect swiss roll (apparently Iain’s method of scoring it, is not one of them), waiting for the inevitable baking disaster/meltdown/drama, or just seeing how well we do in a game of ‘Innuendo Bingo’, one thing is perfectly clear: reality television is rarely quite this mouth-wateringly good.
And rarely am I in love with a television set as I am the GBBO one – set in a marquee in the beautiful Berkshire countryside (yes, I admit to squealing with delight when they show the little lambs), the country kitchen style is a classic.
