What’s Motivating Me Lately

Earlier in the week I put out my intention to get back to my five weekday post schedule and sure enough last night I was stumped!

In all honestly, I think the reason why I haven’t been posting lately is because there isn’t anything monumental I’m working towards right now and things have been pretty simple. As I mentioned yesterday, I seemed to have found a good groove!

Here are some things that are currently keeping me motivated.

Momentum from my work fitness challenge which ended last week, trying new fitness classes (& eats!) and workout weekend dates to hold me accountable and make things fun.

Using My Fitness Pal to hold myself accountable to maintaining a balance, but knowing that that means some days balance means not tracking.

Work busy season starting and the sheer intimidation not wanting to get burnt out again. Or, having the experience and motivation to get organized and get ready to kick it’s butt.

Keeping things organized so they work like clockwork without much thought.

Listening to Podcasts as I zone out at work. (this one is a must listen!)

Taking time to decompress daily, learning to say no and prioritizing the things that matter the most to me. My perfect day includes good eats, a workout, some productivity and some downtime. It really is that simple.
