Catching the Boden Bug
There was time, not so long ago, when I used to tease my mum for dressing almost exclusively in Boden. But now the tables have turned, and I’m the one who’s always lusting after their designs. Their current collection is insanely covetable (my wish list is getting out of control), and last week I also got a preview of their Spring/Summer 2015 line, which is equally amazing. The prints, in particular, are beautiful – think cheerful florals and zingy colour-clashes. You’re going to love it!
But back to AW14…. The pink geometric print Bistro trousers are my current Boden obsession. I can’t wait to wear them with a berry roll neck, my sequin Zadig et Voltaire blazer and hot pink heels; but last week I took a more casual approach, pairing them with a slogan knit, biker jacket and jazzy flats. If I’m honest, I think the trousers probably deserved a more exciting look for their very first outing, but they managed to turn a few heads none the less.

The Madewell knit is also a new edition to my wardrobe. I’d been umming and ahhing about whether or not to order it for weeks, and eventually caved in when Shopbop ran their last 25% friends and family discount. It’s the first item I’ve ever purchased from the US brand and it definitely won’t be the last! I’ve now got my eye on this heart patch denim shirt and their sleek colour-block car coat.
