How to Wear a Parka Like Kate Moss

I assume that by now you’ve all read British Vogue’s December 2014 issue. It was guest-edited by Kate Moss, and one of the highlights is the Mario Testino shoot showcasing her “chameleonic style”. We see her in a number of familiar guises – from nineties minimalist to glasto girl – but it’s the “paparazzi fodder” version of Kate that has spurned the most copycat looks over the years. And for this shot Vogue Fashion Editor, Lucinda Chambers, dressed the supermodel in an item clothing we’ve all come to associate her with: the parka.

Sure, Liam Gallagher might be the first name that springs to mind when you think of parkas, but Kate Moss is definitely the second. And, let’s be honest here, she’s the one that we all want to look like (sorry Liam). The Autumn/Winter 2014 collections are laced with Kate-friendly coats, so here’s my pick of the best designs, along with three ways to style them à la Moss…
