Five on Tuesday

Hello from Brooklyn and just FYI: Five on Tuesday is definitely the new Five on Friday. You heard it here first, folks.

1. A Newbie's Guide to French Cheese from Chicago Thrillist - I have a whole chapter in my never to be published memoir on exploring cheese in Paris and it was quite the (delicious) experiment. If only I'd read this guide before I left. So I could've enjoyed at a very more knowledgable level.

2. How to Live Life Like a MotherF-er by Amy Selwyn - if there's one article I've read online lately that I want to tout the most, it's this one. I love it coming from a place of chosing to give up living in NYC. I love it coming from a place of wanting to live a big life. I love it coming from someone who often gets way too wrapped up in wanting the achievement, not the authentic connections. Read it. We can discuss.

3. McDonalds Figures Out That People Sort of Hate Going to McDonalds - but the best part of this article is that people love Chipotle! I'm a Chipotle addict, even going when I was in Paris (which is also a chapter in my never to be published memoir) and am glad to see the majority of you are with me on that.

4. Prized Souvenirs, Found for Free from The New York Times - my second favorite article that you need to read. Scrapbookers, you'll get it. Travelers, you'll love it. This piece will make you smile.

5. Your Instagram Picture, Worth a Thousand Ads from The New York Times - I wanted to share this one because it's my friends! In The New York Times! For being awesome! Alina, the photographer mentioned at the beginning of the article on the power of Instagram followers, is a good friend of mine. And I've mentioned them (yes, bragged about) my awesome former housemates, the founders of the Popular Pays app. Instagram Influencers. It's officially A Thing.

Hope your week has been off to a great start!
