Greetings everyone! After 10 days in London I am back in the States and dreaming of when I can return again. Knowing that I was closer to Kate made it that much more special and I know I made memories that will last a lifetime. While I was off gallivanting between Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace, there was some royal news buzzing about…

This Week:

• September 18- Kate’s favorite hometown pub gets the boot! The local Berkshire pub, The Old Boot Inn is closing its doors after 18 years. A favorite place frequented by the Middletons, and Kate and William themselves, have filed plans to become a residential property. There are five other pubs within the area, and owner John Haley says it is “just not viable anymore”. Looks like The Duchess will have to find a new spot to indulge in her sticky toffee pudding!

• September 18- Oldies but goodies! “New” pictures of Kate surfaced, and by new I mean from 2011 but never seen before. These pictures were taken in December and show The Duchess of Cambridge out shopping with one of her bodyguards. She is wearing her L.K Bennett coat, Aquatalia booties, and her Mulberry bag. Don’t you just love new picture surprises?

• September 18- To Malta no more! Sadly it was announced that The Duchess of Cambridge would not be traveling to Malta due to her Hypermesis Gravidarum condition and that her husband, The Duke of Cambridge would take her place. The Duchess of Cambridge was hoping to feel well enough to go as she did not want to cancel, however her doctors advised her against the trip. This was a disappointment to all of those involved, including us royal watchers, however Kate’s health comes first and the time was better spent resting. William carried out Kate’s duties for her and mentioned that she was feeling just “so-so”. Here is to a speedy recovery!
