styling a rental \ living room
I’m in the process of moving, and my head is SPINNING ya’ll. When I shut my eyes I see visions of shower curtains and shaggy rugs and accent tables galore. The options are endless and I am one of those people who has to make sure the purchase is EVERYTHING I’ve ever hoped and dreamed before I click “checkout”. It’s a problem. And it’s very overwhelming. So instead of doing every room at once (that would be my usual style, ha!), I decided to go room by room with the basics, and then add accent pieces and unique decor pieces as time goes. I’m very much into reviving vintage pieces, and reconstructed furniture. But my conundrum is that I always want it to be clean and fresh looking. There’s a definite balance, right?
