LET’S GET PERSONAL WITH BIRTHDAY CAKES AND MARKS & SPENCER

Who doesn’t LOVE a birthday cake?

I know, I sure do! Whether it be a home made Martha inspiration, or store bought yumminess, if there’s chocolate, icing and good company I’m a happy Mama.
Making that wish and blowing out the candles on that birthday cake is always a big deal, whether you’re four or fourty. After all, you can’t have a proper birthday without a birthday cake!

As you may have seen over on Facebook, I went back to work last week. So fighting the baking battle is once again a part of this families life. And if you’re a working Mama like me or maybe just not a super baker we can all provide that special baked good for our special someone with a little love from Marks & Spencer, or the local bakery.

But oh! How I would just die to have the time and energy to make some of these amazing cakes. Like Ashlee’s super fun Topsy Turvy Cakes, or this yummy looking rainbow chocolate chip cake – you can literally see the love in every one of those perfectly placed chocolate chips.
