Spring is Here

I am so ready for Spring to arrive. Hell, I’d love it if Summer would get here too, but I’ll settle for anything that’s warmer and a ton more pretty than the bare Winter we’ve just been through. There is very little more soul-lifting than a light and sunny Spring morning, when the birds and singing and the flowers are starting to bloom. I can’t wait to get into my garden to start some planting and I’m excited about lazy weekend afternoons going for walks and sitting outside. It’s not quite warm enough here to be spending days in shorts or sipping iced tea in the sunshine, but it’s not too far off now, and I’m pretty happy about it!
