DIY House Number Yard Post - A Pinterest Inspired Project

In today's post, I want to share with you a Pinterest inspired project - DIY House Number Yard Post.

If you would life to see the original project please visit the Shanty2Chic website. This site is ran by two sisters who make fabulous projects. I am so inspired by them! I have it pinned on Pinterest here. I have had this pinned for a while, so I asked my sweet husband if we could finally make it for my Mother's Day gift. Here is our version of this project.

We followed Shanty2Chic's instructions and made this within a couple of hours. The longest part is waiting for the stain to dry. The only thing that I did differently than Shanty2Chic was I used a fence post solar light on the top of the post. I also chose to hang a bird feeder on the side. I already had this on hand and it worked great for this project. Here are the supplies that we used. All supplies were purchased at Home Depot.

We used our existing fence stain that we had on hand. The color is redwood by Behr.

Waiting for the stain to dry.

Once the stain dried, we just attached the solar light, house numbers, and hanging plant bracket.
I love this so much!

It fits perfectly in our front flower bed.

We loved how these turned out and how easy they were to make, so we made two more.
One for each Mom for Mother's Day.
Best Mother's Day gifts ever!!
Thank you to Shanty2Chic for the inspiration!!
