My dream bedroom

My bedroom is an important room to me, one I spend more time in than I would often like and for that reason I need to have it easy to access to things around me as well as the bed itself, as well as it being a well-lit area and hopefully a room I never get tired of being in.

While I love my bedroom as it is, it’s definitely not my dream bedroom and so that got me thinking what would my dream bedroom really be like?

Storage is definitely a huge issue and so I love the idea of having storage that goes all around the room, hopefully making use of areas that perhaps otherwise wouldn’t be utilised – plus having more room to pop things nearby, means on bad days, I have to get myself into such a bother about trying to find what I am looking for.

For me lighting is a big thing, I find if the light is to dull or to bright it can play with my eyes, so getting an even amount of light spread around the room is a must, but also having extra lighting around the area I am laid to help with reading is also something I think could help.

Of course once you have the basics in order, accessories really finish it off and I would have to go for:

Ottoman
Placed at the end of the bed and used to keep blankets and sheets dust free, plus they are great for taking a seat on while you try and pop your socks on if your bed isn’t quite right.

Vanity Table Mirror
I have always imagined quite a decadent table and mirror, something that looks like it perhaps could have taken a step straight out of Downton Abbey.

Suitcases
Three of slightly different sizes, stacked one on top of another and of course used for extra storage.

Pictures
I adore pictures, I have probably way to many of Sally, but of course family, friends and just art works you like all have their places as well.

The wonderful thing about sorting out your perfect bedroom or for that matter any room these days is that many stores allow you to shop for the whole room in one place.

What would your perfect bedroom include?
