Stay safe this Christmas with Easy Lock

If you are headed away this Christmas then the Easy Lock may well be something you would like to keep close at hand, perfect for people who are staying in B&Bs, shared home renters or anyone who just wants to feel a little more secure in their room.

The Easy Lock offers a simple way to lock a door which doesn’t already have a fixed lock and even allows you to open the door up to pass documents to someone on the other side, without you having to compromise yourself by opening the door completely.

The idea behind the Easy Lock is simplicity, without compromising on durability or practicality, while still being pocket friendly for all, with this idea in mind and the concept designed, Easy Lock was put onto funding website indiegogo, where is reach over 100% of its target and the concept became a reality.

So what exactly is it?
The Easy Lock comes in two parts and works on most inward opening doors, which have a visible gap of at least 2mm between the lock plate and door (the average is 4mm). While manufactured from steel the lock has a plastic coating which helps protect the door from harm and is strong enough that it is impossible to break the lock by putting pressure on the door alone.

The lock can even be set in a matter of seconds, all you need to do is open the door, place the steel latch into the lock plate of the door you wish to secure, close the door, slide the lock towards the door and then downwards, check for security. Honestly it isn’t as hard as it sounds and once you get the hang of it you will be able to set it without even thinking, check out this video to see just how simple it really is:

If you think the Easy Lock could help you, they are available online now from their website and can be brought in pink or silver, both of which come with a protective case, meaning you could even just carry it around it your handbag and how much do they cost? Well actually they come in at a very respectable £24.95 and are most definitely worth it for that extra peace of mind.
