BLACK, WHITE, AND GOLD E-DESIGN

I recently finished an e-design for a reader with really great taste. She said her style was modern with a bit of glam, and she gravitated toward the colors black, white, and gold. Hello dream! She sent me these photos of her living room as a starting point.

Gorgeous, right? And oozing with potential. Beige isn’t really her jam, and she already planned to paint all the walls a light soothing gray. She also needed a media console and a solution for above the fireplace (note the cutout).

She already had a great sectional. Here is the photo she sent me:

Working with that and her color requests, this is what I put together:

I have long loved the Reflections Cabinet from Home Decorators. It was a bummer to find out it doesn’t ship to Canada where she lives. She was stealth and found it on Amazon– design saved! It’s so so good in person, I know she will love it.

That coffee table is one of my favorites. I didn’t love the cutout above the mantle, so I instead suggested covering it completely by resting this large mirror in front of it, then layering artwork, and a few interesting accent pieces like the vase and gold orb.

She promised to send photos of the finished product and I can’t wait to see them!
