perfect summer smock.

Looking at my dress collection now, it's difficult to believe that I ever thought twice about wearing a smock. I've aquired quite a few over the past year, and this cute checked number is the latest addition!

If you're still dubious about wearing the comfiest style of dress around: firstly - what. and secondly - this one from Warehouse is probably a good one to ease you in, because it ties up at the back, so you can give yourself more of a waist if you feel the need!
For me, this dress is the perfect balance of girly and grunge. I can see it working well into the autumn months too, with tights and knitwear.. but I don't want to think about the fact that summer will one day end, I just want to hop around my city in a comfy, cool dress.
