This Chocolate Peanut Butter Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream is what you want gracing your next cone. A rich chocolate ice cream swirled with peanut butter and then freckled by pieces of peanut butter cup. A perfect scoop of a classic flavor combination.

At our house, you can always find some type of ice cream or ice cream treat in the freezer. It’s our go-to sweet treat and something we almost always indulge in for our evening snack. Even in last Winter’s polar vortex, you could find us on the sofa – under a blanket – enjoying a bowl of ice cream while watching the late evening news.

One of our favorite spots for ice cream in Cleveland is Mitchell’s. Nearly every Friday of the school year, we’d stop on the way home for a scoop. Or two. I use the fact that I share my ice cream with Carson as justification for two scoops.

My favorite flavor? Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. So much so that I had to take a stab at creating it at home. And then of course I had to put my own spin on it as well by adding even more peanut butter. A rich chocolate ice cream swirled with peanut butter and then freckled by pieces of peanut butter cup. Seriously the best ice cream I’ve churned out at home.
