10 THINGS

Friends barely survived my birthday weekend & I am currently experiencing the power of a hangover on a 27 year old body. Don’t mind me, I’ll have this coffee IV in till 3pm. The only casuality of the weekend were my keys which were gloriously recovered a few hours after the sun came up. Thank you to the most splendid, life-saving Uber driver & the Carvel cake that played the part of complete dinner last night. Take that, late twenties.

This week’s mantra. It’s gonna be a long one.

Never have I ever wanted to be a kept woman. Until I found these boots. Willing to marry for LK Bennett Leona’s in a size 8.5. Spread the word.

Have you guys seen Nicole Richie’s show on VH1? I had no idea that woman was so funny. Or that we were meant to be best friends IRL. I’ll let you know when she’s on board.

I leave for New York Fashion Week at the ass crack of dawn next Thursday which means FALL IS UPON US. I’m so happy I could cry. Positive this purchase will help calm me down.

I almost immediately regretted leaving a pair of leopard calf hair pointed toe pumps priced at $49 on the shelf at TJMaxx yesterday afternoon. After spending more time that I care to admit staring at the perfectly sized empty space on my shoe rack & a little encouragement from some fab readers, I darted back & scooped them 5 minutes before closing. Point, Moynahan.

This little investment has already paid for itself twice over. A black multi-textured bag with gold hardware that transforms from a clutch into a sleek shoulder bag. Perfect for say…a night out that turns into an aggressive dance party. Check.

At this point, if you haven’t already heard about my love affair with the greatest black faux leather tote for under $48, you’ve been living under a rock. This is one of those purchases you just make. Do it.

The only hats I’ve ever worn are those that have team logos on the front. & then Sole Society released this wonderful bit of merriment & it changed my whole head wear game. Get friendly. You’ll be seeing a lot of this guy over the next few months.

Hallie published this great read last week which prompted me to create my own survey for you guys. Most of the time I feel like I’m talking at you instead of talking with you & that’s something I hope will change in the near future by learning a little bit more about what you all are looking for when you visit DS & what it is you wish you were getting from this little corner of the internet.
