Five on Friday

This post is all about being a working/pumping Mom…and the 5 things that I think I am going to NEED to survive this upcoming year. That means – Momma needs to go shopping.

one. Keurig.

I am already getting tired of setting the coffee maker each night to brew in the morning. I am tired of the coffee grounds in my cup. And I am tired of the filter dripping everywhere whenever I remove the pot. Momma needs a Keurig.

two. Simple Wishes Hands Free Pumping Bra

Um… yah. This thing looks fantastic. I currently can only wear around 6 things in my closet that allow me to pump comfortably. I don’t really see how I can wear anything else even with this fancy shmancy bra… but I do know I will be able to type lesson plans (like her) and drive my car (if I get an adapter) while I pump.

three. backpack

There is no way I can continue to carry all my teacher crap on my shoulder. I am going to have to resort back to high school style and get myself a backpack. Preferably a monogrammed North Face…but anything that can carry my laptop, planner, and teacher guides will do.

four. comfy but professional outfits.

I seriously think that I could have been one of the original Babysitter’s Club members based on clothing in my closet that would be considered appropriate for work…sadly, I would probably have been Mallory, but that’s besides the point. Momma needs some new teacher clothes and that outfit from Gap is right up my alley. Comfy, a little bit casual, and not something dumpy Mallory would be caught dead in.

five. pictures of Annabelle

I think Annabelle’s Baby School has probably figured it out by now that I need to know how she is doing at least twice a day. If I don’t get a picture by lunchtime, then I call. Thankfully, they don’t think I am a looney toon and are totally used to Moms asking about their babies all day every day.
