Top Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Don’t Own Yet

I’ve tried to make there be no overlap between this week’s list and last week’s list – because obviously I talked about books I am being forced to read, want to read, and don’t own yet. But so this list contains some of the less hyped ones. I probably would have bought a fair amount of these already were it not for my birthday last week and the inevitable book buying ban that comes with it. Sad sigh. SOOOOOOOOON I will go on a book buying rampage. Probably. It’s not smart. But eh.

1. Magnolia by Kristi Cook
I just had to look at the synopsis and I knew this was for me. But then Christina read it and came and told me I must read this book. She knoooooows the tell tale signs of a Debby book, so um, I will be buying this and devouring it very soon.

2. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
This one’s gotten praise all around, but it was Gillian’s review that had me flailing with WANT. This sounds so fluffy, fun, and adorable, and DAT COVER YO. May you find your way onto my bookshelf very soon.

3. The Unbound by Victoria Schwab
I FINALLY got around to writing my review of The Archived last week, and doing so overwhelmed me with feels again. I need to get on this. I need more Wes in my life. And the ship apparently gets even better. Ugh, I need this.

4. The Fourth Wish by Lindsay Ribar
This just came out a few weeks ago, but I loved The Art of Wishing and I love Lindsay, and I know this is going to be absolutely freaking wonderful. So yeah, this is high on my to-buy list. I’ve only been sadfaced because of the September and October TBRs because (for all of these books) WHEN WILL I GET TO READ THEM? *cries*

5. Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods by Rick Riordan
Obviously.

6. Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
I’ve heard pretty good things about this book, that it’s just fun and refreshing, and that’s totally what I want. ALSO THE COVER. #shallow I haven’t read her Hex Hall series, but it sounds like she just writes those easily digestible fun books. I need more of those.

7. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
This has actually been on my wishlist for a while, but I dunno, I’ve put off buying it myself. I do feel like I’m finally getting to a place where, as a reader, I think I can handle the level of creepy. BRING IT ON. Obviously I’ve heard the best things. And I love Ransom, so I want to love his book, duh.

8. Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
THIS WILL HAPPEN. Which should make Christina very happy. But I’m not getting into more than one epic high fantasy series at a time, so this is on my list for after I catch up with A Song of Ice and Fire. Hopefully in three months, but well, we’ll see.

9. Dissonance by Erica O’Rourke
Okayyyy this was on my list of books I wasn’t sure I wanted to read but since that list, I’ve seen glowing review after glowing review, so I have been convinced. I love me some parallel universes.

10. The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson
So many rave reviews! I think this will be a hit with me for sure, but yeah, just haven’t been able to buy it. *sigh* Hopefully this will happen soon, when I’m in a strong fantasy mood.
