Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays. I have such great memories of hanging with family and friends, watching fireworks and catching lightning bugs! Last year we spent the holiday in the nation's capitol, visiting my Nana and cousins in her home just outside DC.

This year we're staying in Jackson, and my roommates fiancee (who's one of my best friends) is coming into town! I'm so excited. Summer is seriously my favorite season. Sunshine, lemonade, did I say sunshine? Love it.
