Happy Hump Day! How's everyone doing on their new year's resolutions?

I have vowed to be more active, and so far it has been working somewhat. Of course, my resolution isn't all for health reasons. It's also for esthetic reasons. A great head of hair does wonders for improving one's appearance.

That being said, I would like to introduce you to an amazing salon in Vancouver.

Aptly named Salon Haze, the talented stylists aim to solve your hair woes when you come to them in a haze.

The owners, Tim Kuo and Loretta Tom are a pair of extremely talented stylists. With accolades as ample as their product shelves, you can sit back with ease and trust their handy work.

I saw them recently to give my do some more pizazz.

Tim Kuo is extremely detail oriented and we started to chat about what I wanted and some hair concerns I had on a daily basis.

I wanted to have more volume on a daily basis and he recommended the perfect product for it.

The Resurrection Style Dust gives a gritty texture to hair so it becomes more prone to styling. Especially when it comes to holding a tease and volume. It makes freshly washed hair slightly "dirtier" and easier to style.

I wanted more of an ombre effect for my hair. Still subtle but more obvious.

They quickly went to work.

My hair was slightly trimmed first. Tim is extremely meticulous and made sure everything looked even.

Let me add this, he does the most amazing guy hair! Clean lines, attention to detail and fantastic style.

After some foiling, I am now ready for a Lady Gaga concert! No?

More processing time in the most comfortable chair/bed EVER!

Back in the styling chair. A quick dab of moroccan oil and heat protectant spray, my hair is ready to be coiffed.

Voila! The final product.
