It's mid March now and this view seems so far away. Yesterday a blizzard started up and covered everything in yet another layer of snow. Spring will come in a few days, in name only. Does that sound depressing? Well, I suppose it kind of is. Not too much we can do about it, other than get the hell outa dodge. We aren't waiting for spring to come to us much longer, having booked a flight to Vancouver in two weeks. The farthest west we've been is Banff, so I'm really looking forward to exploring this beautiful Canadian city. It seems like there are endless things to do with the kids too. I rented an apartment in an old home in Kitsilano for us to call home base. It was very affordable compared to hotel options downtown, and looks like a really cozy cool spot. I'm feeling excited and happy to add another destination on our map, traveling as a family of 4.
