Capsule wardrobe: Warm winter outfit formulas

It’s based on two simple outfit formulas, which are really just variations of each other anyway: both are built around crewneck sweaters. Because when it’s a cold winter weekend, who needs to be pushing the style envelope?

Warm winter outfits capsule wardrobe

• Outfit formula #1. Layer a crewneck sweater over a turtleneck or a button-down shirt (and here’s a trick from Allie for doing the latter). Add skinny jeans or cords that can tuck into knee-high boots. Finish with a warm scarf.
• Outfit formula #2. As above, swapping narrow-legged pants for wider ones and the knee-high boots for shorter ones. Scarf away!
