You know how much I like to make my own cleaners whenever I can. I have been using this one from
Clean Mama for a few weeks now and it totally passes the barefoot test.
Here's how I do it on floor washing day. I fill up one side of my sink (or a bucket) about half full with hot water. To one side I add 1/2 cup borax. She suggests 1/4 cup borax to 1 gallon water. Stir it around and let it dissolve. Start washing away! Either stick your mop in the bucket or your rag and start scrubbing away. I rinse my rag out in the other side of the sink so I'm always washing with clean water.
