Blooming Roses Granny Square

Materials -

DK/8 ply yarn
5.00 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Tape Measure

Pattern -

Starting with a magic circle or ch 3 and join with a sl st to make a circle,

Round 1: Ch 3, 2 dc into the circle, ch 2, *3 dc, ch 2* Repeat 3 times. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st. (12 dc)
Round 2: Sl st to next ch 2 space, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)* into each ch 2 space around. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st. (24 dc)
Round 3: Sl st to the next ch 2 space, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 * 3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times, 3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st. (36 dc)
Round 4: Sl st to the next ch 2 space, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 * {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} two times (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times. {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} two times. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st. (48 dc)

Round 5: Sl st into ch 2 space, Ch 1, TURN, ( sc, bobble, sc, ch 2, sc, bobble, sc) into the first ch space to make corner, ch 1. * {sc, bobble, sc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} three times (sc, bobble, sc, ch 2, sc, bobble, sc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times. {sc, bobble, sc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} three times. Join to top of first bobble with a sl st. (20 bobbles)

Round 6: Sl st into ch 2 space, TURN, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 * {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} four times (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times. {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} four times. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st.

Round 7: Sl st into ch 2 space, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 * {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} five times (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times. {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} five times. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st.

Finish off with pink and join white

Round 8: (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) to make first corner, ch 1 * {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} six times (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into the corner space, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 times. {3 dc into the next ch 2 space, ch 1} six times. Join to top of ch 3 with a sl st.

Finish off and weave in ends.

Sew flower to center.
