November 23 - Smile for the Camera

This post is my first venture in submitting to the genealogy themed "Smile for the Camera" Blog Carnival. The theme for the 19th edition is "The Gift".

The photo below is very special to me and I consider it a great gift from my aunt. The photo is of my maternal grandmother, Ella Katherine Cutright Martin. She was known as Kitty to all the family. This photo was taken in 1924 and reminds me of how lucky I was to have such a sweet and wonderful grandma. She taught me so much and I still miss her as much as I did when she died in 1995.
