A few salon updates

It's been a while since I last shared any pictures of my at home hair salon. I spend quite a bit of time in this space, so I am always tweaking it.
My client sitting area is rather small and closed in. It definitely makes it cozy, but it can sometimes feel a bit cramped and dark since it is in our basement.
I decided to paint an accent wall in a dark gray color. The actual color is Seal by Martha Stewart.
It sounds crazy that I would want to add a dark colored accent wall in an already cramped space, but that's exactly what I did.
I think it helps ground the sitting area, and I love the contrast between the wall color and the tile on the floor. It feels much warmer now and more inviting. Another thing I love is the way the white mirror pops!

I finally got around to painting the dresser white. I also added a trio of black mirrors that I found at Home Depot. I love how their design mimics the design in the black chairs.

My husband's grandmother gave us the rocker. It has been in their family for many many years. I really like the rustic element it brings to the space. I moved the floor lamp that was here previously up to our living room, and replaced it with a table lamp that I already owned.

The last little update is the addition of a throw pillow. I picked this one up at Target a few week ago.
